What Is Spiritual Direction?

Spiritual Direction is the care of souls that is prayer-centered and Scripture-directed. It’s the work of creating intentional time and space to slow down, to pay attention, to listen, and to respond to our Heavenly Father’s heart. A spiritual director is tasked with being a companion who provides a safe space for quiet reflective prayer, who offers spiritually sensitive questions and observations, and who helps us realize and remember how God is FOR us.
